I'm thinking of starting a sketchjournal for my Student Art League stuff and some random sketches. (SAL is my happy place, I've discovered.) Or should I just post them here?

I.e. would you guys rather I not clutter up your friends-lists with my doodles (or at least be given the choice)? :P

In other news, I have started jujitsu and kung fu and lion dance and have realized just how out-of-shape I am. 8P

...and now I must study for my Neuroscience exam on Monday.

So at 10 tonight we watched Slumdog Millionaire outside, on the grass.

At 11, the sprinklers went off.

So the Narita airport has this origami museum/shop thing. Which is actually pretty clever, because it's essentially "LOOK AT THE COOL STUFF WE HAVE IN THESE DISPLAY CASES, NOW BUY A BOOK."

On an unrelated note, have any of you had lobster sashimi before? It is delicious.

EHS Art Show is tomorrow at 6:30. Anyone coming? :D

Collage should be out by tomorrow morning, too.

On average, I've spent twelve hours in school per day for the past three days. Yes, that includes today.

But we're done. Well, mostly. Couple finishing touches here and there, and it's getting sent.

*falls over*

By the way, any of you old Collagers want to get a copy/to be a patron? Hopefully, we'll have them by the art show on the 28th.

Fell over when I got home, so I couldn't post yesterday. :P

Kilnfail on Thursday. The cone didn't break properly, and the timer for some reason did not work, so what was supposed to be a high firing turned out to be a... crazyhigh firing, for lack of a better term. The bricks have cracks all over, the one shelf warped and cracked from the heat, the posts bent, and the pieces... heheh. The clay softened, warped and formed bubbles, so we have these tumorous-looking twisted pieces. It was only my stuff and Caruso's stuff, so I guess it was better than if an entire class' pieces were ruined, I guess...

Despite that, it was pretty fascinating, and I may take a few photos of the shelf and pieces just to show you what happened. XP

But I do have one piece of my dinnerware set that was in another firing, so.

Got a silver for my turtle. I shouldn't be disappointed, but I am. And Parkland got more awards than we did, what is this.

(And I was a stinking pile of FAIL on the listening portion worth 25 points of my Spanish exam, and I probably failed that Econ test, and my former bio lab partner somehow managed to get on my nerves again.)
